When you sign up, we take care of the planning and admin so you can focus on raising funds. Auckland Angels
October-December 2026
Every Christmas, with the help of our community, thousands of families experience joy they might otherwise miss out on. Join hundreds of Aucklanders collecting presents and food to share with families who need extra support this Christmas.
Register your workplace, school or community group and rally your people to collect Christmas gifts and food for Auckland families.
Can’t run a collection? You can still be an Angel. Buy a gift through our online Angel shop or drop a new, unwrapped gift at a collection point.
March Mission
March 2027
Get active with 7,000 steps a day next March. A bit of a walk. A lot of support for people doing it tough.
Tāmaki Makaurau, get active and feel connected next March. Walk 7k steps a day – or more – and raise funds so people in urgent need can access kai, safe housing, and healthcare. Each step you take will inspire your whānau and show your care for building a safer, more supportive community where everyone can get help when they need it.
The Cook Off 2027
Cooking up hope, one meal at a time
In June, under the guidance of top chefs, senior business leaders will come together to prepare a delicious four-course meal for over 200 Mission guests.
It will be an extraordinary evening, bringing together senior business leaders, celebrity chefs, and entertainers to create a truly special night for people experiencing the effects of poverty — including homelessness, limited access to health care, or difficulty putting food on the table. This event is more than serving a meal; it is a night of shared care, dignity, and connection as one community.
Feed it Forward
January - September
Feed It Forward for Aucklanders in need by organising a food drive in your workplace, school, church or community group. We really appreciate donations of non-perishable food (including canned vegetables, pasta, breakfast cereals) and toiletries (such as toothbrushes, shampoo and feminine hygiene products).
We have a range of free resources to help make your collection a success.
Community Events
From concerts to markets and creative fundraisers, these events are organised independently by supporters who choose to raise money for Aucklanders doing it tough.
All Together Now Choir presents ‘All of This is Us 2026’ concert
All Together Now choir returns to the Great Hall for a second year, bringing a vibrant, uplifting evening of choral music in support of Auckland City Mission – Te Tāpui Atawhai.
Be part of something special as Aotearoa's largest choir network takes the stage with a dynamic set of around 20 songs — from international favourites like Sam Smith's "The Lighthouse Keeper" and John Lennon's "Imagine," to moving waiata "E Rere Te Manu," "Te Aroha," and more.

Auckland Live presents ‘A Christmas Carol’ by Charles Dickens

The Civic
The award-winning stage spectacle, Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, returns to The Civic. Brimful of song, humour, love, and lashings of festive joy, A Christmas Carol is a magical, grand-in-scale production - a much-anticipated tradition for the whole family here in Tāmaki Makaurau.

Stonefields Choir presents Sing for the City 2026

Celebrate the joy of Christmas through the power of music at Stonefields Choir’s annual Sing for the City concert, raising funds for Auckland City Mission – Te Tāpui Atawhai. Bringing together beautiful voices united by a love of singing and community, Stonefields Choir will share the magic of music while helping make a real difference for Aucklanders doing it tough. Special guests include Stonefields School Choir, Nathan Imboden and more.
